Requirements

Active Trader Pro
This is the trading platform used by Fidelity traders. Features included with Active Trader Pro offer the trader market data that is streamed in real-time. The use of advanced charting is available and ability to make hypothetical trades to assess real-time profit and loss estimates. All the services that are provided to a trader can be done with one click of the mouse.
Mobile Applications
Users that are on the go can install their mobile application on their iPhone and iPad. This is an app that allows traders to easily view their portfolio and to make quick trades. One benefit a trader has using the application is news that is up to the minute, account history and monitoring of money.
Disadvantages
The website is not stable and can become slow on days with a high-volume of trades. Traders that have mutual funds they have purchased will carry a low balance fee of $12, if their balance falls under a level of $2,000. Trading tools available to traders do not have as many features as provided by competitor sites. However, the research that is available to a registered user is second to none.
